Tottenham Hotspur defeated Arsenal 1-2 in the Premier League. José Mourinho called the Spurs wrong on three occasions.

The Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur duel was held at the Emirates Stadium, which was completed on Monday (3/15/2021) in the morning of the WIB in Continued English League. Spurs were able to steal a goal first despite playing under pressure from Arsenal thanks to a beautiful goal from substitute Erik Lamela in the 33rd minute.

The Gunners kept attacking the Spurs with two attempts to hit the post. Until finally, Martin Odegaard managed to score Arsenal’s equalizer in the final minutes of the first half.

Alexandre Lacazette determined Arsenal’s victory with a second-half penalty in the 64th minute. Tottenham finished the game with 10 men after Lamela was sent off.

Despite winning the match, Arsenal are still fighting for 10th place in the Premier League standings with 41 points from 28 matches. The same goes for Tottenham Hotspur, who are rooted in seventh position with 43 points, six points behind Chelsea.

Tottenham Hotspur is really difficult to develop the game. Arsenal attacked and pressed so intensely. The Gunners fired a total of 13 shots with the Spurs just six, even though both teams only recorded three shots on goal.

Arsenal also excels in ball possession. The Arsenal defense, escorted by David Luiz and Gabriel, managed to reduce Harry Kane.

Tottenham Hotspur manager José Mourinho was asked about his team’s appearance. Mourinho, three times the bad word!

“We played very badly in the first half. Our defense was bad, we were bad,” he was quoted as saying. Sky sports.

“They are more intense, aggressive and move the ball better than us,” he continued.

José Mourinho admitted that he was optimistic in the second half. But Erik Lamela’s red card and Arsenal’s penalty ruined everything.

“In the second half we took control of the game. In our good moments we made changes to try to win the game and when the referee made the wrong decision, the VAR confirmed the wrong decision of the referee,” he concluded.
