This asteroid was first discovered on Saturday, April 11, 2020, and is being tracked by astronomers at various observatories, including the Catalina Sky Survey in Mount Lemmon, Arizona, according to the Small Planet Center at the Smithsonian Astrophysics Observatory in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Asteroid 2020 GH2 does not pose an impact risk to Earth during its flight. Despite flying in the moon’s orbit, there is still plenty of space available.
