Polda Metro’s Head of Public Relations, Jaya Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus, explained that at first the MFA was driving a Fortuner at Jalan Colonel Sugiyono around Friday morning.

“The incident occurred around 01.00 WIB on the street of Colonel Sugiyono Duren Sawit. The person in question was wearing a Fortuner with police number B 1673 SJV, crossing an intersection with a red light,” Yusri told a conference of press on Friday.

Residents who learned of the incident immediately stopped the perpetrator’s vehicle and reprimanded him.

“He elbowed the motorcyclist. Then from inside the car he got angry and pulled out a gun. Several people and motorcycle taxis in line helped the woman to stop the vehicle,” Yusri said.

After showing the weapon, the perpetrator immediately left the scene without paying attention to the motorcyclist he hit and fell.

According to Yusri, the residents who assisted the victim recorded the perpetrator’s action and recorded the police number of the car.
