JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The teacher who wrote questions with political overtones of SMPN 250 Cipete Sukirno admitted that he wrote questions by including the names of political figures Anies and Mega as spontaneity.

“Be spontaneous, sir,” Sukirno told DKI Jakarta DPRD President Prasetyo Edi Marsudi during a clarification meeting at E DPRD DKI Jakarta Commission on Tuesday (12/15/2020).

Sukirno admitted that he did not intend to include the two figures in the school exam questions with a proportion that was not considered good.

According to him, when he was asking questions, the names Anies and Mega suddenly appeared.

“By Allah, sir, I have no intention of anything, when I did the matter there was the name of Anies”, said Sukirno.

Sukirno also related the timeline that he was assigned to ask the school exam questions for Class 7 SMP according to the curriculum taught at the school.

According to him, there was nothing unusual until he wrote the names of the two political figures in the affair he conducted.

“The school principal assigned me to ask questions for the seventh graders with grids based on the curriculum that we have at school,” Sukirno said.

Prasetyo Edi then cut off this explanation, who considered that there were still many names left in addition to the two political figures that would be mentioned in the question.

“Why didn’t Udin and Otong do it?” said Pras.

The case of a teacher who brought in elements of electoral politics went viral in cyberspace on December 12, 2020. Sukirno asked school exam questions with names of political figures.

In this matter, the names of two political figures, such as Anies and Mega, are represented as opposing figures, so this question is deemed to discredit the name of Mega and brought the name of Anies up.

“Mega always ridicules Anies for wearing very boring shoes,” wrote the school exam question.
