Policeman, TNI and Petamburan Urban Village built a new post across from Jalan Petamburan III in central Jakarta after the dissolution of the Islamic Defenders Front (Pembela Islam Front).REIT) on Wednesday.

“We made a 3-pillar post on Jalan Petamburan III. This post is for us to do community activities around here,” Kapolsek Tanah Abang Kompol Singgih Hermawan said when meeting at Jalan Petamburan III on Thursday (12/31).
Singgih denied that this post was created after the dissolution of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI). As is well known, Petamburan Street has been synonymous with these Islamic organizations until now, because it has been the headquarters of the FPI for a long time.
According to Singgih, the construction of the post was primarily to maintain security and public order at Jalan Petamburan III.
Singgih also emphasized that his group would continue to conduct patrols to monitor conditions in Petamburan III. Patrols are carried out so that there is no FPI activity in the area
“We definitely do patrols every day. We patrol together with the sub-district and the Koramil,” Singgih said.
Danramil 05 / Tanah Abang Major Arh Saryono emphasized that the construction of this post was also not related to the euphoria of the dissolution of the FPI. According to him, the construction of this post was also a request from the residents of Petamburan.
“Because the community has a wish, the community has also agreed, including the mayor of Central Jakarta who has agreed, so we carry out this aspiration,” Saryono said.
Saryono also emphasized that the TNI-Polri was no longer alerting officers in Petamburan III. He also ensured that this booth could inspect all visitors arriving at Petamburan III, because so far many outsiders had been in and out of the Petamburan area during FPI activities.
“What is clear is that we are helping security and public order, in this case the Kapolsek, Danramil and from the sub-district, there are no other elements,” he concluded.
