jpnn.com, PALU – The combined TNI-Polri troops that are members of the Tinombala Task Force continue to persecute the armed civilian Mujahidin group of East Indonesia (MIT) from Poso, led by Ali Kalora.
The group is suspected of being the perpetrator of the massacre of four people in a family in Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi.
“Now we are studying it for recognition and then through other things. We are trying to continue to pursue them, ”said Korem 132 / Tadulako Commander, TNI Brigadier General Farid Makruf, in Palu on Sunday (11/29).
Brigadier General Farid Makruf said that TNI personnel involved in the Tinombala Task Force were equipped with a pursuit force, intelligence and territorial task force.
“Our task is to strengthen the Tinombala troops who are currently led by Kapolda and I as their representatives. So far, in my opinion, the TNI-Polri synergy has been very effective, so the MIT Poso group has been pressured to feel threatened and take another path, ”he said.
Brigadier General Farid appealed to all parties and the public to work together so that the search for the armed civilian group MIT Poso can end immediately and the public can move in peace.
“I called on the public to stop helping them by preparing food, preparing information on the whereabouts of the TNI-Polri troops who were pursuing them,” he said.
“It has stopped, because you see how MIT atrocities commit acts of violence, kill, burn people, rob and burn houses, that’s too much,” he said.
