JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises aims that the distribution of Productive Presidential Assistance (Banpres) or Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) of Rp 2.4 million to microentrepreneurs can reach 100 percent by the end of this week .
The Finance Deputy of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs Hanung Harimba Rachman, on Tuesday (9/15/2020) said that his party is expanding the program until the added ceiling can be distributed as a whole.
Meanwhile, in another place, the Coordinating Minister of Economy, Airlangga Hartarto, stated that as of September 4, 2020, there were 5,591,204 microentrepreneurs who had received assistance.

Viewed by province, this aid was mainly distributed in the province of West Java.
“BPUM’s distribution, viewed by province, is dominated by the West Java province with a total of 1,147,173 micro-enterprise players,” he said at a virtual press conference on Tuesday (9/15/2020).
For the smallest BLT distribution, he said, it was located in West Papua province with a total of 4,620 microentrepreneurs receiving assistance.
In this way, the total budget for the realization of the disbursements as of September 4, 2020 was recorded at IDR 13.42 trillion or about 46.5 percent. The goal set by the government for this assistance targets 12 million MSMEs stakeholders with a budget of 28.8 billion IDR.
