The Head of State requested that the distribution of social assistance be accelerated because citizens really needed it.

This is because most of the city’s citizens are losing their livelihoods due to various social restrictions imposed during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Jokowi added that the central government had provided various social assistance options that were distributed to residents.

Some of them are through the Family Hope Program (PKH), food packages, Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) and village funds.

He also called for the distribution of all social assistance instruments to be accelerated to ease the burden on the community.

“I ask for speed so that social networks reach the hands of the recipient’s family. It is true that the faster it is, the better,” he continued.

He also asked the recipient of the Bansos data to be transparent so as not to arouse suspicion in the process of distributing Social Aid to the public.

“I also ask that the recipient of the Bansos data be open in a transparent way, who gets the criteria, what kind of assistance is clear so that it does not raise suspicions and we can make corrections immediately,” Jokowi said.
