The Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Edhy Prabowo today completed his first investigation as a suspect in the bribery of the export of fingerlings. Edhy also seemed relaxed after taking the exam.

Previously, the KPK named KKP Minister Edhy Prabowo as a suspect in the alleged bribery case for the export of lobster seeds. Edhy is suspected of taking bribes in connection with the appointment of a lobster seed exporter.

Edhy’s alleged bribery case began with information about the receipt of money by state officials. From November 21, 2020 to November 23, 2020, the KPK again received information on this matter.

Construction of the case, on May 14, 2020 Edhy issued Decree Number 53 / KEP MEN-KP / 2020 on the Due Diligence Team for Commercial Licenses for Lobster Farming Fishing. The party that intends to become a fingerling exporter must comply with the due diligence team assessment as set out in the decree.

The Due Diligence Team was led by Edhy Special Personnel named Andreau Pribadi Misanta (APM) as Executive Director of the Due Diligence Team. There is also the special staff of Minister Edhy appointed Safri (SAF) as vice chair of the due diligence team.

In early October 2020, the Director of PT Dua Putra Perkasa (PT DPP) named Suharjito (SJT) came to the office of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries to meet with SAF. PT DPPP wants to become an exporter of fingerlings. To export the fingerlings, the conditions must go through PT Aero Citra Kargo (PT ACK). PT ACK acts as a “carrier” of potato chips from the country to abroad.

“During the meeting, it was discovered that to export lobster seeds only through carrier PT ACK with a transport fee of Rp 1,800 / head,” Nawawi Pomolango said.
