JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government, through the Ministry of Social Affairs, has redistributed social assistance, namely cash social assistance (BST) worth Rs 500,000 or Rs 500,000 for social assistance for people who are not beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program ( PKH).

The BLT for non-PKH commodities is targeted at 9 million beneficiary households (KPM). Each recipient received cash funds of IDR 500,000 (BLT IDR 500,000).

For people who are not included in the PKH beneficiaries, they can check their status (welfare check of Rp. 500,000) if they get Rp. 500,000 from the government or not accessing checkbansos.siks.kemsos.go.id.

After entering the official website of the recipients of government aid, in the first column, the public can use 3 alternatives, including the identity number registered in the Integrated Social Welfare Data System (DTKS), the membership number of BPJS Health or Population Identification Number (NIK).

Then, after the identity to be used, in the second column the identification number and write down the complete funds registered in the Identity Card (KTP).

The cash welfare beneficiary application system (BST) will then process the entered data and issue information on whether the entered identity is registered as a BLT Rp 500,000 beneficiary or not.

Earlier, Social Affairs Minister Juliari P Batubara said that this assistance was provided to help people affected by the covid-19 pandemic. He said that the beneficiary families (KPM) of this program were BPNT programs not KPM PKH.

Asep Poor Managing Director General Sasa Purnama said the total budget for cash welfare (BST) for 9 million beneficiary families (KPM) was IDR 4.5 billion.
