“The locations are all in the agricultural irrigation canal of the latrine river and the rice fields,” Plumbon Village chief Agus Tarjito told reporters this afternoon.
The man who is familiarly called Jito said that this irrigation canal originates from Tembok Village.
A farmer named Nur Khamid shared the first moment he saw the money. “My intention is to clean the canal in case there is silt that was washed away on Thursday night because the water was overflowing,” he told reporters this afternoon.
Nur Khamid discovered that the money was an irrigation water canal in Plumbon Village, Limpung District, Batang on Friday (11/20) around 05:30 WIB. Freshly arrived and set foot in the irrigation canal, his eyes were immediately fixed on a bill that was not far from his location.
“I’ll clean (the irrigation canal) to see a hundred thousand bills. Then I take my pocket. Hey, there’s another 50 thousand rupees not far from there. Over time, how much money turns up,” he explained.
According to him, at that time the atmosphere around the water channel was still calm. It was just him and a few other farmers in the fields. However, it turned out that he was not the only one who found the money.
