The president of the PSI Jakarta Regional Leadership Council (DPW), Michael Victor Sianipar, admitted that he did not care about the WO action that took place on Monday (12/14/2020).
He said he will remain committed to safeguarding the interests of the people despite the other eight factions of the DKI DPRD leaving the forum.
“Whatever happens, we will continue to express the interests of the people,” Michael said when contacted by text message on Monday, Kompas.com reported.
According to Michael, this action was interpreted by the ISP as a form of criticism from other factions towards the ISP faction.
This incident was a form of political consequence for the ISP election by maneuvering to make a different choice than most other factions.
“Of course, the choice we made yesterday will have political consequences. We appreciate the attitude of other colleagues as a form of criticism against us,” he said.
