JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The legal team of the Islamic Defenders Front canceled the appeal of SKB 220-4780 / 2020 on the Prohibition of Activities to Use Symbols and Attributes and the Termination of Activities of the FPI before the State Administrative Court (PTUN)
FPI lawyer Aziz Yanuar explained that the main reason for not continuing with SKB’s lawsuit before the PTUN was because his party did not want to waste time.
DPP FPI considers that the step to cancel the SKB through the PTUN is not a top priority. The most important thing that is currently being fought for is to reveal the incident of the shooting of 6 FPI soldiers in Jalan TOl Jakarta-Cikampek some time ago.

“We focus there first. We canceled the PTUN plan because we suspect that the Joint Decree (SKB) is the dirt of civilization, so our answer is that we just dump the dirt in the septic tank,” Aziz said on Thursday (31 / 12/2020). ).
Previously, FPI leader Rizieq Shihab ordered the legal steps related to SKB number 220-4780 from 2020.
Rizieq requested that SKB be registered in the lawsuit in the Administrative Court. Rizieq entrusted this instruction through his team of lawyers when he visited him at the Polda Metro Jaya Detention Center.
“Habib Rizieq said like this: ‘Please let’s prepare the legal steps, sue the PTUN (State Administrative Court),'” said FPI Legal Aid President Sugito Atmo Prawiro, mimicking Rizieq Shihab’s conversation, on Wednesday (30 / 12/2020).

With this request, the FPI DPP Legal Assistance Team also prepared an application for a lawsuit for SKB Number 220-4780 of 2020.
One of the points of the petition to the PTUN is the allegation of injustice and arbitrariness committed by the government against the FPI.
The legal aid team has compiled administrative evidence on the status of Ormas from the FPI. Including the subject of a Registered Certificate (SKT) as an organization in the Ministry of the Interior.
According to Aziz, the decision of the Constitutional Court Number 82 / PUU-XI / 2013 establishes that a mass organization can register with the government or not.

This means, Aziz continued, that the FPI’s registration as a mass organization with the Interior Ministry is not binding.
“The MK provisions of 2013 do not have a registration list. SKT is not mandatory. Just be voluntary,” he said when contacted on Wednesday (12/30/2020).
