The City of Bogor COVID-19 Working Group reported UMMI Hospital (RS) Senior Director Andi Tatat to the police. UMMI Hospital was considered to be blocking efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 because it was not open about the results of the Habib Rizieq Syihab (HRS) smear test.
Bogor City COVID-19 Task Force Head of Law Enforcement and Discipline Agustian Syah explained why his party requested the test results against Habib Rizieq. He said his party requested the results of the HRS swab treated at UMMI Hospital solely for data collection.
He said HRS was included in the category of persons under supervision (ODP) because it came from Petamburan, in central Jakarta. Because there were cases of Corona spread.
“Our interest is to record data on the number of patients who have entered the city of Bogor, treated in the city of Bogor with the assumption that the person in question is ODP (person under supervision). Why do we say ODP, because those affected by the Petamburan group areto update 34 were positive. That is why we ask the interested party to make a swab, “said Agustian at the Bogor City Hall, Bogor, on Saturday (11/28/2020).
He said that all hospitals (RS) are obliged to send data related to the management of patients with COVID-19. This is because this data is necessary to determine the steps in the effort to address COVID-19.
According to him, this principle applies in general, also known as not related to individuals. Agustian said that the COVID-19 Working Group also has an obligation to protect the privacy of each patient.
“We just need synergy and collaboration to take notes and know how to take the right attitude to determine the next steps,” he said.
“We emphasize that the hospital is obliged to submit the results of the patient’s swab test data to the Bogor City COVID Task Force as material for our determination when submitting data to the National COVID-19 Task Force.” added the head of the PP headquarters in the city of Bogor.
He said his party reported to the police because the UMMI Hospital did not provide complete information. This action is seen as hampering the work of the COVID-19 Working Group.
“The UMMI Hospital promised on November 27 that the results would come out at 11 p.m. No news reached us from the Bogor City COVID Working Group until 12 o’clock. Therefore, the COVID Working Group We decided to report UMMI Hospital to the Bogor City Police for suspicion of obstruction and obstruction of the process of spreading infectious disease outbreaks as ordered by Law 4/84 on Outbreaks of Communicable Diseases, ”he explained.
