“Ms. Hj Nunuk Nuraini died today and quietly returned to the bosom of Allah SWT,” Novi said, when contacted by Kompas.com, on Wednesday (1/27/2021).

Nunuk has worked as a flavor brewer for the instant noodle division at PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk for almost 30 years. Thanks to the concoction, Indomie has become one of the Indonesians’ favorite instant noodles.

Nunuk graduated from Padjajaran University in Bandung and majored in Food Technology. He has served as Indofood’s director of flavor development for almost 30 years.

So far, there are Indomie flavors. Starting from the typical Indonesian flavors, such as soto, rendang, chicken curry and even sambal matah. Even the classic Indomie Mi Goreng flavor that is still the most popular today.

Not only in Indonesia, this instant noodle is also enjoyed by people from all countries. Indomie has been marketed in 80 countries around the world, including Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada, Asia, Africa, Europe, and countries in the Middle East.
