jpnn.com, JAKARTA – President Joko Widodo has suggested that those who reject the Omnibus Law on Cipta Kerja submit a judicial review to the Constitutional Court (MK).

The man known as Jokowi believes that his party needs this law to combat unemployment and protect micro and small businesses.

“If there is still, if there is still dissatisfaction with this job creation law, please file a judicial review through the Constitutional Court,” Jokowi said at a virtual press conference on Friday (10/9).

“Our constitutional system says that,” he added.

Jokowi recalled that the Employment Creation Law also requires many Government Regulations (PP) and Presidential Regulations (Perpres) in its implementation.

“Then after this, PP and Perpres will emerge, which we will complete no later than three months after their enactment,” Jokowi explained.

However, Jokowi stated that the government opened up and invited public opinion.

In addition, proposals from the regions will also be heard, Jokowi said.
