KONTAN.CO.ID -JAKARTA. The government finally decided to impose large-scale social restrictions, also known as PSBB, strictly in all the provinces of Java and Bali from January 11 to 25, 2021.

The president of the Committee for the Management of Covid-19 and National Economic Recovery (KPC-PEN) Airlangga Hartarto, on Wednesday (6/1) declared that the decision of the PSBB in the provinces of Java and Bali was due to these areas met one of the 4 parameters as a limitation requirement. Airlangga said that this policy was taken because the government referred to data on developments in the management of Covid-19, such as the risk zone for the transmission of the coronavirus, the proportion of isolation and ICU beds and active cases of Covid-19 , which currently has reached 14.2 percent.
