KONTAN.CO.ID -JAKARTA. Bambang Trihatmojo, son of the late second president of Indonesia Soeharto, sued Finance Minister Sri Mulyanike in the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN).
Bambang Tri, son of President Soeharto, was named in his claim that he was prevented from traveling abroad. Through the complaint number 179 / G / 2020 / PTUN.JKT, Bambang Tri requested the judges of Jakarta PTUN to cancel the Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 108 / KM.6 / 2020 dated May 27, 2020.
Referring to the Finance Minister Decree, Bambang was prevented from leaving the country due to a state accounts receivable issue for the 1997 SEA Games X1X.
At that time, Bambang became the president of the Consortium of Organizing Partners for the XIX SEA Games in 1997. However, the amount of the bill from the Ministry of Finance to the consortium led by Bambang Tri is not clear.
The special staff of Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Yustinus Prastowo to KONTAN explained that Bambang has debts with the state. “The debt itself is a delegation from the Secretary of State (Secretary of State). The Ministry of Finance only carries out the task of collecting the State’s debt, ”said Yustinus, Thursday (9/17).
The accounts receivable or credits to Bambang by the Secretary of State were transferred to the Ministry of Finance, that is, to the General Directorate of State Assets of the Ministry of Finance. “The debt is related to the holding of the SEA Games in 1997. So we only do action, we give warnings, we continue to enforce bans because there is a transfer of cases from the Secretary of State,” Yustinis said.
Therefore, Yustinus said, if the court was invited, the Finance Ministry would comply with the subpoena. “It is Pak Bambang’s right (to sue). If there is a full payment, the prevention will be lifted,” Yustinus said, without explaining the amount of the debt.
Certainly, Bambang Tri filed a lawsuit with the Minister of Finance and registered the lawsuit on September 15.
The petitum proposed by Bambang Tri were:
First, Bambang Tri requested the appointment to grant the plaintiff’s claim in full.

Mr. Bambang Trihatmodjo (President of the Consortium of Organizing Partners of Marine Games) XIX 1997) in the framework of the Management of State Accounts Receivable
The last, punish the accused for paying the costs of the case

In fact, Bambang Tri served as president of the consortium of organizing partners for the XIX Sea Games in 1997. As head of the consortium, Bambang is responsible for providing all facilities for the organization of the 1997 SEA Games.
One of the traces of the Sea Games implementation that stood out was that the consortium finally took over the sale of the SEA Games XIX stickers more openly for irregularities to occur.
The reason is that the sticker sale was chaotic, so ARG only managed to sell stickers for Rs 3.7 billion out of the 11 billion rupees they promised.
