GenPI.co – Chinese companies have been successful in developing innovative products, namely smart glasses that can detect the symptoms of co-19 disease.
Rokid Deputy Managing Director Xiang Wenjie said demand for T1 eyewear products that were developed in the near future increased after the first 1,000 sunglasses were sold to the government, industrial estates and schools.

“In addition to body temperature gauges, T1 can present remote and portable temperature control results, and this will be of great help,” Xiang said Saturday (2/4).
The glasses made in Rokid are equipped with infrared sensors and a camera, so that users can detect the temperature of others.

The project amid the corona virus outbreak was completed by Rokid with millions of dollars in funds in 2018 led by Singapore’s state investment company Temasek, as well as by Swiss bank Credit Suisse and others.
Rokid is a startup that typically develops augmented reality (AR) products for use in factories and digital games.
Now, the company is improving the T1 glasses feature so that it can simultaneously scan the temperatures of multiple people at once for use in public places like shopping malls and airports.
