“The dose injection was completed on November 6 and 14 days after the injection was completed on November 20, 2020,” Kusnandi said at Bio Farma, Bandung, on Wednesday (12/30/2020).

“All the subjects were monitored for side effects that they felt after the injection,” he continued.

Kusnandi said that so far the side effect that most volunteers felt was local reactions in the form of pain at the injection site, with the majority being mild.

So the most systemic reactions that are felt are muscle pain and most are mild.

“This month, the blood draw came three months after the second injection. The antibody test with the neutralization method was carried out in Balitbangkes with the Elisa method (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) at Bio Farma,” he said.

Kusnandi said interim reports for up to three months after the second injection would be sent to the Agency for Food and Drug Supervision (BPOM) in early January 2021.
