There is no torture house for the 6 members of the FPI Laskar

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Commissioner for the Protection of Human Rights (Komnas HAM), Choirul Anam, said that the Komnas HAM investigation found no torture houses for the six members of the Laskar Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) who were shot by police in the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.

This was transmitted by Anam based on the temporary investigation of Komnas HAM and the circulation of information about the existence of torture houses for members of the FPI laskar.

“So I assure you, Komnas HAM has never found a house where he was tortured,” Anam told a press conference that was questioned. Compass TV, Monday (12/28/2020).

Anam said that until now, his party was tracking the events related to the shooting of the six FPI soldiers.

For this reason, he asked the public not to be influenced by the information on the existence of torture houses for the six members of the FPI paramilitaries who died.

“We make sure that the statement about the torture house is incorrect and we have never broadcast it,” he said.

Previously, Komnas HAM relayed the developments and findings related to the police shooting of six laksar by the police on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road on Monday (12/28/2020).

As a result, this time Komnas HAM found five pieces of evidence taken from the crime scene (TKP).

The first find were seven bullet shells. However, out of the seven projectiles found, Komnas HAM was only sure of the six bullet projectiles found.

Then four carcasses were found, then fragments of the car body that allegedly appeared after the incident occurred.

In addition, Komnas HAM also found recordings of conversations and CCTV camera images on the street related to the shooting incident.
