London –
Kai Havertz contributed to all of Chelsea’s goals against Everton. Thomas Tuchel’s manager also praised.
Chelsea vs Everton in the Premier League continued at Stamford Bridge, London, England on Tuesday (9/3/2021) WIB early morning. The Blues took the lead via an own goal by Ben Godfrey due to deflecting the direction of Havertz’s trap ball.
Chelsea ended the match with a 2-0 win thanks to an additional goal in the second half from a Jorginho penalty. This shot from the point was obtained by Chelsea after Jordan Pickford raped Havertz.
This again marks Havertz’s first full play, which he finally made in late January 2021 when the Blues drew goalless against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
“I am very happy with Kai. We showed a lot of confidence in him and he used his opportunity very well tonight. He fulfilled his role, very smoothly and with a very good performance,” Tuchel was quoted as saying by Chelsea’s official website.
“He is a man who has all the qualities and all the talent to be a dominant figure in attack. He stepped forward and was involved in many dangerous attacking situations for us. I am very happy with him and he can put on a performance like that of He did it tonight, which I think highlights what he can bring to this team, ”he continued.
Havertz has not looked very promising since the start of this season, led by Chelsea. It is still in the stage of adaptation of the style of football in the Premier League.
“There is no doubt about his quality, his talent and also his character. He needs to adapt to the Premier League and the new club he plays for to win every game. It is very normal that he is required to have high standards,” Tuchel emphasized.
