JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The National Intelligence Agency assessed that there was a motive for revenge in the suicide attack perpetrated by the couple L and YSF.
State Intelligence Agency (BIN) deputy VII Wawan Hari Purwanto explained that the motive for the revenge was based on the death of the terrorist suspect Rizaldi.
Rizaldi was shot and killed when he wanted to be arrested by the authorities in Villa Mutiara, Klaster Biru, Makassar in January 2021.

According to Wawan, Rizaldi was L and YSF’s mentor. Before he was shot dead, intelligence already knew about the terrorist plan that Rizaldi planned to carry out.
However, after being shot dead, the terrorist plan that had been built since January 2021 was postponed and L and YSF became the parties to continue the terrorist plan.
So, the successor of the couple, wanted it to happen and the attack plan since January came true. In fact, this person is being wanted by the security forces and he realizes that they are looking for him, “Wawan said during an online discussion on Saturday (3/4/2021).
