A police officer, Briptu Andry Budi Wibowo (29), was stabbed to death in Pondok Ranggon in East Jakarta. East Jakarta police said none of the victim’s items were missing.
“There is nothing (missing items),” East Jakarta Deputy Chief of Police AKBP Stefanus Tamuntuan said when confirmed on Thursday (9/17/2020).
Stefanus said his party could not confirm that Briptu Andri was killed. East Jakarta Police are still awaiting the results of the Crime Scene Processing (TKP).
“We cannot conclude what happened yet because we are awaiting the results of the TKP prosecution,” he said.

Previously, Polda Metro Jaya’s Head of Public Relations, Kombes Yusri Yunus, confirmed that the victim was assaulted in Jalan Sapi Perah, Pondok Ranggon, East Jakarta.
“Yes, it is true (there are policemen)”, said the head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus, when confirmed, on Thursday (17/9).
The incident occurred around 05.00 WIB. Yusri said police were still investigating the incident.
“It is still being investigated,” Yusri said.
Currently, the East Jakarta Police are still investigating the case. The police questioned several witnesses.
