LIVE – The National Human Rights Commission of the Republic of Indonesia (Komnas HAM RI) revealed that several men were carrying rifles around the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.
Several people carrying rifles were the center of attention in the murder of six members of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) army on Monday morning, December 7, 2020.
Komnas HAM Commissioner Beka Ulung Hapsara said that several men carrying rifles around KM 50 of the Cikampek toll road were agents guarding the COVID-19 vaccine delivery route. The vaccine is on its way from Soekarno-Hatta airport to Bio Farma in Bandung.
“The information we got (several men carrying rifles) was related to the safety of the vaccine. The Sinovac vaccine was shipped from Soekarno-Hatta to Bio Farma in Bandung, West Java upon arrival from China,” Beka said, during a press conference in the office. Beka claimed that the information was passed on by the police. It is true, there are several policemen stationed in each resting area to ensure the vaccine. The COVID-19 vaccine arrived in Indonesia on Sunday, December 6, 2020 and was immediately transported to Bio Farma by land.
“That is the information we got from the police, that the presence of several men with rifles around kilometer 50 of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road were members of the police who were ensuring the travel of the vaccine,” he said.
As is known, Komnas HAM has carried out an investigation into the case of the death of six followers of Habib Rizieq Shihab. This investigative process was carried out by going directly to the scene and requesting information from various parties, including witnesses on the ground.
In direct searches on the ground, the Komnas HAM research team found projectiles and several bullet casings. There were also fragments of the car body which indicated that there had been friction from the car at the time of the crash.
The Komnas HAM investigation process will continue. The existing evidence will be ballistic tested to reveal the facts behind the incident. (North American stock market)
