The will of the alleged terrorist only shows ignorance of terrorism

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Al Chaidar’s terrorism watcher said that the wills written by the suspected terrorists showed the stupidity of the terrorist movement itself.

“The will shows the stupidity of the terrorist movement itself,” Chaidar said when contacted by phone on Friday (2/4/2021).

Chaidar explained that the will is not a cause for concern when it is widespread.

This is because, Chaidar said, no one sympathized with the actions of the suspected terrorists, both Lukman who carried out the suicide bombing in Makassar Cathedral and the attack on the Zakiah Aini police headquarters.

“Nobody sympathizes with the will, and it shows that he (a suspected terrorist) is so stupid,” Chaidar said.

With the wide dissemination of the will, according to Chaidar, an early public awareness will be created to combat the stupidity of terrorism.

He believes that netizens in Indonesia will be smarter in selecting and classifying information along with increasingly heavy use of the internet.

“Because users of social networks have a maturity that is formed automatically over time using social networks,” said Chaidar.

Previously, the suspected terrorist of the Makassar Cathedral bombing Lukman (26) wrote a will to his family that contained a ban on borrowing money from the bank and apologizing to his relatives before carrying out the attack.

The same was done by Zakiah Aini (26), author of the attack on the Police Headquarters who drew up a will on anti-democracy and the elected government of democracy.

Zakiah Aini also wrote his apology to the family and the ban on lending money to banks that charge loan interest or Riba.
