The policeman who served as Pjs Danton 3 Ki 3 Dalmas of the DIY Regional Police, Aiptu Sri Mulyono, died from the Corona virus or COVID-19. Sri Mulyono volunteers for the funeral of the corpses of Corona patients at the COVID-19 Task Force Operational Support Post in Yogyakarta.

The departure of Aiptu Sri Mulyono on Sunday (20/9) is a deep pain for the police. Dansat Brimob Polda DIY Kombes Imam Suhadi said the deceased had served in the COVID-19 Task Force Operational Support Post for the Yogyakarta Special Region from March to June.

Imam was the leader of Mulyono while the deceased served on the Detachment Team of the Biological and Radioactive Chemistry Unit (KBR) Sat Brimob Polda DIY.

“The deceased tested positive after he became a volunteer. But for more details, the doctor who knew better but when he was resting was not in the Task Force, he had COVID-19,” Imam said when contacted by reporters, the Thursday (24/9/2020).

Mulyono, Imam said, was confirmed positive for Corona about four to five days before his death. “Yes (positive for COVID-19), most recently he was treated in hospital with a ventilator,” he said.

Not just Mulyono, it turns out that COVID-19 is also terrorizing his family. Mulyono’s wife and children were reportedly hospitalized, also because of Corona.

“By the way, his family, his wife’s son, is now being treated at the hospital,” Imam continued.

Imam remembered Mulyono’s figure as a tireless member. His dedication was extraordinary.

However, since a month ago, Mulyono was no longer Imam’s subordinate. This is because the deceased has been transferred to Sabhara. This is a policy for members age 35 and older.

“He is an extraordinary figure. His dedication equals extraordinary unity, very good for the community. So sometimes he doesn’t see the state of the body. I had time to rest and I moved to Sabhara with Samapta,” he said.

“When spraying (disinfectant) in shops, hotels, sometimes someone gives money for cigarettes, but he doesn’t want to. His dedication is extraordinary, ”he continued.
