A video of the declaration of Jundullah or the army of Allah circulated in a mosque in West Bandung Regency, West Java, last Friday, January 1. The statement was addressed by a person suspected of being the leader of the congregation.

“I just found out from the video that was circulating. To be honest, I don’t know if there was a statement like that because there was no notification to the management of RT or RW. So if you want to know what the purpose of the statement is, you should go to Ustaz Erwan, “he told reporters. Monday (12/4).
Supiyandani said that Erwan had a congregation at a mosque in his area. However, Erwan does not live in Sasak Bubur Village. The congregation also performs recitations regularly.
“Actually, they are ordinary mosque congregants, whose activities are recitation. But in fact, management rarely communicates with them and it has not been strange all this time,” he said.
According to Supiyandani, the number of the Erwan congregation is not really that large, only around 13 families. In fact, they often hold prayers in the mosque, which is the place for the declaration of the soldiers of God.
“I also didn’t know that the mosque had a name and I just found out that it was called Masjid Allah Sawah. But if you look at the position, the mosque is in the middle of a rice field,” he said.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Ulema Council of Indonesia (MUI) West Bandung Regency, Muhammad Ridwan, said that his party would check the information in the video with the party in question.
Currently, Ridwan said, his party has been unable to determine whether the statement is deviated or not.
“Actually, we don’t know the information yet, what is the purpose of the statement, what is the name and what is the purpose. Therefore, we must first know who the person is and what the purpose is, then we can determine whether it is deviated or not, “said Ridwam.
Ridwan claimed that his party would ban the congregation’s activities if they felt it would disrupt security.
“If the intention is to disturb public safety, of course it is prohibited not only by the MUI but also by the legal apparatus,” he said.
