The government officially opened registration for the Work Cards program through the official website www.prakerja.go.id.
The Pre-Employment Card is a training costs and incentives assistance program for workers, job applicants, and micro and small businesses that have lost their jobs and / or experienced a decrease in purchasing power due to the Covid pandemic. 19.
Registration conditions
The requirements for Pre-Employment Card program participants are Indonesian citizens (WNI) over 18 years of age and currently not attending formal education.
The program registration consists of 3 (three) stages.
First, potential participants or registrants create a pre-employment account on the site www.prakerja.go.id. Then, registrants enter biographical data such as name, place / date of birth, population identification number (NIK), etc.
The data is then verified to the relevant Ministries / Institutions (K / L).
Second, applicants take a basic motivation and skill test for about 15 minutes.
Third, registrants join the current registration wave.
“Every week, from April 11, 2020 to the fourth week of November, 2020, a quota will be opened for around 164,000 participants,” he said.
Registration can be done at any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
“If you have not been successfully accepted as a participant in the first wave, applicants can join the next wave,” said Airlangga.
Participants who receive a pre-employment card will be notified by email and / or SMS.
The pre-employment card is not a physical card, but a unique 16-digit code that can be used as a training payment tool.
Participants can choose the training they want on the digital platforms of the official partners of the Workers Program, namely Tokopedia, Skill Academy of Ruangguru, Maubelajarapa, Bukalapak, Pintaria, Sekolahmu, Pijarmahir and Sisnaker.
He stated that each recipient of the Pre-Employment Card will obtain a total benefit package worth Rp 3,550,000.

Government assistance can be used to purchase various trainings on the specified digital partner platforms.
Meanwhile, the incentives will be transferred to the participant’s bank account or LinkAja, Ovo or GoPay electronic wallet.
The incentive consisted of the first training incentive after the completion of Rp. 600,000 per month for 4 months with a total value of Rp. 2.4 million.
There is also a post-assessment evaluation evaluation incentive of Rp 50,000 per survey for 3 surveys with a total value of Rp 150,000.
Participants can receive further training if they have completed the first training.
“Attendance will be forfeited if within 30 days of being designated as a recipient, participants have not used the Pre-Employment Card for the first training,” said Airlangga.
For information, the rest of the training fee assistance after the first training can be used to purchase additional training through December 31, 2020.
