GridOto.com – Toyota Avanza’s fame not only occurs in the new version, but also in the older model on the used car market (mobkas).

The Toyota Avanza is also considered appropriate for Indonesian families, due to its large load capacity and can accommodate up to 7 passengers.
“Despite the (difficult) economic conditions as they are now, there is still demand for used Avanza,” Agung Iskandar, owner of used car dealership Kurnia Agung in Jelambar, West Jakarta, told GridOto.com on Sunday ( 03/05/2020).

Introduced by PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) in December 2003, the first-generation Avanza was equipped with a 1,298-cc engine code K3-DE DOHC with only manual transmission options.
Seven months after launch, Toyota released the Avanza S as its tallest variant with a 4-speed automatic transmission option.
The offered machine capacity remains the same as the previous type, but has received improvements.
The engine code was changed to 1,300 cc K3-VE DOHC 16 valve which has brought VVT-i technology (Intelligent timing variable valve).

Over time, in December 2019 yesterday, the first generation of the Toyota Avanza was officially 16 years old.
