JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The field coordinator (Korlap) of the Action of 1812, Rijal Kobar, said that the Covid-19 pandemic was not an obstacle to expressing opinions.
According to Rijal, the Action of 1812 was the same as the Pilkada event of 2020.
“What is the difference between Action (1812) and Pilkada? There is no difference. So first with the pilkada it is the same. But for me, my action will follow the Covid-19 protocol, I see,” Rijal said in Tanah Abang , Central Jakarta (12/18/2020) in the afternoon.
According to Rijal, the demands to be expressed will be difficult if they are limited due to the presence of Covid-19. For him, there are demands that must be transmitted.

“So for me Covid, yes, we have to obey, but that does not mean we are silent about doing nothing,” he said.
Rijal said he had urged the masses of the Action of 1812 to wear masks and apply health protocols while expressing their opinions.
The Action of 1812 demanded that the government defend human rights against the shooting of six soldiers of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) by the police.
Then the Action of 1812 also called on the leader of the FPI, Rizieq Shihab, to be released and defend justice in Indonesia.
The mass action of 1812 was dispersed by the police around 2:00 pm WIB. The masses were pushed back in various directions, such as Tanah Abang market, Tanah Abang station, and the alleys of Jalan Abdul Muis.
