Nashville Mayor John Cooper said CNN that dozens of buildings have been damaged, most of the building’s glass is broken. However, the mayor did not know how many buildings or people were affected.

“Right now, there are a lot of damaged glass on 2nd Avenue,” he said.

This street is on the edge of the central Tennessee tourist district in the historic part of the city.
