The discovery of a corpse in a crocodile cage shocked people in Berau, East Kalimantan (Kaltim). Worse still, the woman’s corpse was tied up.
Starting from a resident in Teluk Bayur, Berau, who passed through the cage of the crocodile Mayang Magurai saw the figure of the corpse. He also reported his findings to authorities. The police mobilized to evacuate the body.
“Initial information on the discovery of the body on Wednesday (10/21/2020) was from a resident who passed by,” AKP Rido Doly said on Wednesday (10/21).
AKP Rido is the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Berau Police. Since the initial identification, AKP Rido did not mention whether the woman’s body was a murder victim or not.
“Because he’s still waiting for the autopsy results,” Rido said.
When it was first discovered, according to Rido, the identity of the woman’s body did not exist. Police began to further investigate the discovery of the body of the woman wearing the batik.

The position of the found corpse is said to be in a crocodile cage. However, the police did not find the crocodile in the pond that local people called a crocodile cage.
“The information from the residents around the pond is a crocodile enclosure,” AKP Rido said.
“But when I was there I didn’t see any crocodiles,” he added.
Initially, the identity of the woman’s corpse was not yet known because it was not found at the site of her discovery. But recently the police found a silver lining.
