jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The organization Frente de Defensores Islámicos (FPI) has been declared banned by the government. All forms of activity have also been prohibited, up to the use of attributes and logos.
In fact, all assets in the account of the mass organization based in Petamburan, central Jakarta, were frozen by the government.
However, the National Police Headquarters admitted that it knew nothing about the freezing of accounts that contained tens of millions of rupees in people’s money.
“So in this way, in relation to that matter, it is not the authority of the National Police to reveal it,” Divhumas Polri Public Relations Chief Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan said on Monday (4/1).
According to him, the National Police also did not have information about the suspension and which party had the account frozen.
“So there is no information on this matter (account suspension),” Ahmad added.
Previously, Aziz Yanuar as a former FPI legal team and also an FPI lawyer, Habib Rizieq, said that the number of accounts frozen by the government was only one.
“One account, in which the remaining tens of millions of rupees were salted,” Aziz told JPNN on Monday (4/1).
