The Ministry of Manpower returns 150,000 accounts of potential wage subsidy recipients to BPJS, why?

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Minister of Labor (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah confirmed that the distribution of wage / salary subsidies (BSU) of stage 4 of Rp.600,000 per month has been disbursed to the workers or day laborers who are entitled to receive from according to the criteria of Permenaker Number 14 of 2020.

In this fourth stage, there should be 2.8 million potential recipients of the subsidized distribution. However, there are 150,000 account numbers returned to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

“Alhamdulillah, the data integrity verification process has been completed. Of the 2.8 million data on the Stage IV beneficiary candidates, 2.65 million people whose data had been completed had been disbursed to KPPN. We returned the remaining 150,000 to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to complete the data. We do this so that the recipients of salaries or wage subsidies are on target, “he said in a written statement, on Wednesday (9/23/2020).

Ida explained, after processing it to KPPN, KPPN will then disburse the wage / salary subsidy funds to the Distribution Bank. After that, the Distributor Bank will immediately transfer to the beneficiary’s account, either Himbara Bank or other private banks.

It also continues to coordinate with Bank Himbara as the channel bank to expedite the transfer process.

“We hope that the distribution of stage IV will continue to function smoothly, as stages I, II and III, so that the distribution goal of the first stage of the payment of salaries or wage subsidies is achieved,” he said.

According to data from the Ministry of Manpower as of September 22, 2020, the implementation of stage I wage subsidies has reached 2,484,429 people or 99.38 percent of the total number of recipients of 2.5 million people .

Then, for stage II, the distribution has reached 2,980,913 people or 99.36 percent of the total recipients of 3 million people. Meanwhile, for stage III, it has reached 3,356,866 people or 95 percent of the total 3.5 million people.

This means that the total distribution of subsidies from stage I to stage III reaches 8,822,208 beneficiaries or 98.02 percent of the 9 million people.
