TANGERANG, KOMPAS.com – The police continue to investigate SKN (18) perpetrators of vandalism in a mosque located in Pasar Kemis, Tangerang Regency, Banten.
Based on the results of the latest examination, it was found that the perpetrator committed vandalism because the parents were depressed and prohibited from leaving the home.
“The suspect committed this act because he was depressed and the suspect’s parents forbade him to leave the house every day, so the suspect got excited and took out his frustration in this way,” Kapolresta Tangerang Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indardi told Kompas.com via short message, Friday (10/2/2020).

Ade said there was a reason why SKN’s parents forbade their children to leave the house.
According to information from the parents, according to Ade, the perpetrator had difficulty controlling emotions.
That is what makes SKN want to commit violence and fights.
According to Ade, this condition has occurred since the perpetrator was still in Grade IX SMP, where SKN often complained of having difficulty sleeping.

The victim’s parents have tried to cure SKN’s mental condition.
Various forms have been performed, from hypnotherapy, rukiyah to frequent worship.
SKN is also prohibited from going out when not accompanied by his parents.
“What is being done (vandalism in the mosque) is an outlet for the resentment towards those who isolate it, avoid it,” Ade said.
The condition that occurs in SKN is also tested by an examination by a psychologist.
SKN was declared depressed.
Meanwhile, SKN is currently a first-semester student at a private university in Jakarta.
Currently, SKN remains a suspect.
SKN admitted that it had scratched the walls and floor of the mosque.
He also broke the Qur’an and broke the speaker system in the mushala.
