Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – National Police Chief General Idham Azis ordered investigators to prosecute unscrupulous members of the National Police involved in drug-related crime cases with the death penalty.

According to the Chief of the National Police, if there are policemen involved in the circulation of these illegal articles, they should be sentenced to death.
“The commitment of the Chief of the National Police, General Idham Azis, is very clear and firm. The individual members involved should be sentenced to death because they know the law and they know the law,” Argo said in his official statement on Sunday (25 / 10/2020).
Argo also explained that of 113 people involved in serious violations and dismissed as members of the Police, the majority were dragged into criminal cases for drugs. However, Argo did not specify the total number of members involved in the drug case.
“The decisive action of the policemen involved in various serious crimes, especially drugs, was dismissed. From January to October, 113 people were involved in serious violations,” Argo said.
According to Argo, there were cases of unscrupulous members of the National Police who were involved in legal problems, including illegal drugs. There are also still in trial.
“Some have presented the court’s decision and others are still in process,” he said.
