The representative of the FPI DKI Jakarta, Ustaz Salman Al Farizi, said that the Omnibus Law on Job Creation, which had been rejected by various elements of society, was an act of the executive, not just the legislature or the DPR.

“Some time ago we witnessed that some of our friends, workers, students, demanded that the Omnibus Law be frustrated. It is not only an error of the legislature, but that the culprit is the executive. That is why we ask Mr. Jokowi to resign “, exclaimed Salman in his speech in the action carried out in the Statue. Kuda, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (10/13).

Salman stated that there is currently injustice in the midst of society. He stressed that FPI will not allow this to last any longer.

“Because injustice is among us, Muslims will not allow injustice,” he said.

“Are you afraid of the soldiers in front?” he asked in his speech.

“No,” the protesters replied.

In this action, the FPI moved together with two Islamic organizations, namely 212 Alumni Brotherhood and the Ulama Fatwa Guard National Movement (GNPF).

The three came together in a forum called the National Anti-Communist Alliance (ANAK) NKRI.

The Omnibus Law on Cipta Kerja was approved by the DPR and the government on October 5. The product of this legislation generated controversy and rejection of various elements, from workers, students, Islamic organizations and religious leaders, to academics.

Those who refuse to mention the Cipta Kerja Omnibus Law as a legislative product are more inclined to favor corporations and marginalize the rights of people, especially labor rights.

President Jokowi has responded to several objections by suggesting that it be distributed in accordance with legal provisions. People who refuse, Jokowi said, can submit a judicial review to the Constitutional Court.
