The news about the sale of the two marriage documents belonging to the figure proclaimer came after uploading an online store through the Instagram account @popstoreindo on Thursday (9/24). The tweet has been deleted. Several photos of the marriage certificate and divorce certificate were also uploaded to the post.

In response to this, Indonesian Science Institute (LIPI) historian Asvi Warman Adam admitted that he was concerned about the news about the exchange of marriage and divorce documents of President Soekarno and Mrs. Inggit Garnasih.

According to Asvi, the family should keep the two documents instead of exchanging them with the public. Meanwhile, if the family is reluctant to protect these historical documents, they are stored in the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI).
