YAKARTA, KOMPAS TV – The amount of BPJS Health contributions for Classes I, II, and III for independent participants in the category of Unpaid Workers (PBPU) and Nonworkers (BP) has officially changed since July 1, 2020.

The regulation as established in Presidential Regulation Number 64 Year 2020 regarding the Second Amendment to Presidential Regulation Number 82 Year 2018 regarding Health Insurance that has just been issued by President Joko Widodo.

In article 34 of Perpres, the contribution rates for PBPU and BP participants with class III service benefits are explained.

That is, the amount of the contribution of class III participants in the category is the same as the participants of the Beneficiary Contribution (GDP), which is Rp.42,000 per person per month.

But, there is relief for the participants. In the first year or 2020, PBPU and BP participant contributions for class III services only pay Rp. 25,500 per person per month.
