KOMPAS.com – The Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) extended the deadline for submitting mobile phone numbers or cell phones (HP) in the internet fee subsidy program for students and teachers.
The head of the Office of Cooperation and Public Relations (BKHM) of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Evy Mulyani, said that the extension was carried out until September 11, 2020.
“Previously, the data collection schedule was limited to a maximum of August 31, 2020, but now it has been extended to September 11, 2020,” Evy said when contacted. Kompas.com, Wednesday (2/9/2020).
Therefore, his party invited all schools to immediately fill in data on student and teacher cell phone numbers to receive internet fee subsidies.
The data filling is done through the Basic Education Data application (Dapodik).

How to get it
Evy revealed that the provision of free fees is to support the implementation of distance education (PJJ).
The Ministry of Education and Culture will provide students with a free Internet quota of 35 GB per month and teachers of 42 GB per month.
Students and teachers each have 50GB per month.

The plan is for the Ministry of Education and Culture to provide internet fee subsidies for students and teachers, as well as students and teachers for four months, from September to December 2020.
Regarding the steps, all heads of educational units or schools fill in the cell phone numbers of the beneficiaries of the subsidy.

Dapodik itself works to collect basic education data (Educational Units, Students and Educators and Education Personnel) that will be used in various educational policies.

Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Education and Culture has allocated funds of Rs 7.2 trillion to subsidize the Internet quota of students, teachers, students and professors.
