Lionel Messi scored a penalty and gave Barcelona a 1-0 lead over Dynamo Kyiv in the 5th minute of the 2020-2021 Champions League third week match.
BOLASPORT.COM – Barcelona interim president Carles Tusquets is not afraid to take bold steps to sell Lionel Messi.
Lionel Messi created quite a stir in the 2020 summer transfer market after attempting to leave Barcelona.
However, the superstar’s efforts were hampered by a release clause worth 700 million euros, or 12 trillion rupees.
Regarding the riots in Barcelona, Carles Tusquets said that he would not stop Messi from leaving if he had become club president at the time.

Tusquets assessed that Messi’s departure could ease the burden on player salaries and save the team’s fragile financial situation.
It is understandable that the salary of the Argentine megastar reaches 70 million euros a year.
It is also considered that Barcelona can make huge profits from the sale of Messi.
“From an economic point of view, I will sell Messi during the summer transfer market,” Tusquets told Sport’s BolaSport.com.
“Try to imagine how much you can save in terms of salary and how much it will cost you (if you sell Messi). However, of course, this has to be agreed with the technical team,” said the 69-year-old figure.
