PURWAKARTA – An accident between a travel car and a truck occurred at Km78 of the Cipali Highway (from the Cikopo direction to Palimanan), Purwakarta Regency, on Monday (11/30/2020) killed 10 people and injured two others.

Based on the information collected, seven out of 10 deceased victims have been identified, along with the names of these victims:
– Afrizal (54 years old), resident of Jorong, Kuto Tuo, Salimpaung Village, West Sumatra
– Sidirjo (47), resident of Sukorejo Village, RT 13/7 Kesesi District, Pekalongan Regency, Central Java
– Kuswoyo, (38) resident of Petanjungan Village, RT 004/003 Desa / Kecamatan Petarukan, Central Java
– Rasbo Wibowo (65) resident of Dusun Semanggu RT 03/01 Sidomulyo Village, Kecatan Keses, Pekalongan, Central Java
– Ani Wina (4) and Iwan (40); residents of Kesesi Pekalongan, Central Java, also
– Saefudin Juhri (41), resident of Sidomulto Keses Village, Pekalongan.
Meanwhile, four other victims who died have not been identified.
According to police reports, the travel vehicle with police number G 1261 D was carrying 12 passengers when it had an accident. Eight victims died instantly when the accident occurred, while the other two died while receiving treatment at Thamrin Hospital, Purwakarta.

The two victims injured in this incident were Topan Pangestu (20), a resident of Karang Talok RT 02/05 Ampel Gading, Pemalang, Central Java, as well as a man who was seriously injured and in critical condition.
Until this news was released, the police continued to investigate the cause of the accident.
