JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Police Chief Idham Azis published a telegram related to the issue of labor demonstrations rejecting the Job Creation Law Plan (RUU) which has now been ratified into law.
Telegram with Number: STR / 645 / X / PAM.3.2. / 2020 dated October 2, 2020 was confirmed by the Chief of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Headquarters, Inspector General Argo Yuwono.
“Yes, it is true that the telegram, as once transmitted by the Chief of the National Police, General Idham Azis, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the safety of people is the highest law or salus populi suprema lex esto”, Argo said, quoted in a written statement to the press on Monday (10/5). / 2020).

Argo explained that the telegram aims to maintain the community’s security situation amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
