Regarding the recovery trend, Wiku said, there was an unexpected development as the figure dropped to 12.5 percent this week.
According to the data, Wiku said that the addition of Covid-19 cases and higher deaths was no longer dominated by the island of Java.
In fact, not a single province on the island of Java was included among the 5 provinces with the largest increase in the death rate of Covid-19 patients.
This is in accordance with the expected development that for 3 consecutive weeks Java Island will implement the Community Activity Restrictions Enforcement (PPKM) at the microscale or RT / RW level.

“What needs to be paid attention, however, is the increasing number of positive cases and declining recovery this week. The development of positive cases should be continually suppressed, and at the same time, recovery can be improved,” Wiku said.
Wiku also requested that regions that still see high increases in Covid-19 cases increase testing, tracing, Y treatment (3T).
In addition, the local population is asked to be disciplined when applying 3M, that is, wearing masks, washing hands and keeping distance.
“With the implementation of the micro PPKM in Java and Bali, it is expected that it can focus on handling down to the smallest level so that it can lead to better case development,” said Wiku.
