KOMPAS.com – A terrorism suspect with the initials BS, from Cibodas Village, Bojonggenteng District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java, was arrested by the Densus 88 Team.

The arrests were made in Jakarta after the suicide bombing at Makassar Cathedral on Monday (3/29/2021).

Upon receiving this information, BS’s wife, S (25) admitted that she was shocked. Plus, she has a three-month-old baby to support.

S herself admitted that she married her husband just a year and a half ago.

President Joko Widodo heard the suffering felt by the alleged terrorist’s wife after reading the news in the online media.

Through Sukabumi Police Chief AKBP Lukman Syarif, Jokowi sent money to S.

With the monetary aid, it is hoped that it can ease the burden on S and her children and can be used to pay bank fees.

“This is purely for help and has no other purpose,” Lukman said.

According to Lukman, S seemed happy with the help. This is because the president listened to their complaints.

“The suspect’s wife looks happy. President Jokowi immediately responds to his complaint so that the burden on the family is greatly reduced,” Lukman said.

Meanwhile, Sukabumi Police Public Relations Officer Ipda Aah Saepul Rohman said that the assistance provided by President Jokowi was in cash.
