A total of 140 students and unemployed who wanted to participate in the Demonstration of the Job Creation Law in Jakarta were secured by the police in the city of Tangerang. Students who demonstrate their desire to participate in anarchist demonstrations will beblacklist in Police Records Processing (SKCK).
“If it is found that the interested party committed an anarchist act in the demonstration, we will give him criminal sanctions until that moment blacklist in the management of SKCK, “said Metro Tangerang City AKBP Deputy Chief of Police Yudhistira when contacted by reporters on Tuesday (10/13/2020).
In addition, Yudhistira asked for the cooperation of parents and teachers at the school. He hopes that families and schools can carry out strict supervision of children and students so that they are not provoked by an invitation to go to a demonstration in Jakarta.
“We call on teachers and parents to monitor and not allow their children to join the action in Jakarta just because of unclear invitations and lures,” Yudhistira said.
As is known, 140 unemployed students and policemen were arrested in the Tangerang area. The teens were known to go to Jakarta to hold a demonstration.
According to Yudhistira, the police continue to investigate the reasons why these students continued to participate in demonstrations. Police are also investigating who is driving these students.
