SuaraJatim.id – The mayor of Surabaya, Tri Rismaharini, went crazy with the protesters in Surabaya. The protesters are believed to have damaged the city of Surabaya.
The remains of stones, wood and broken glass bottles were seen scattered along the road after the demonstration against the Job Creation Law at the Grahadi State Building, Governor of Jalan Suryo, Surabaya city.
Risma, who came to monitor the situation, immediately collected stones, wood and broken glass bottles on the streets.
The stones were pushed aside and put into a sack.
While collecting the stones, Risma saw several teenagers who had been arrested by the police. Risma also tried to reach out and ask about the intention and purpose of participating in the rally.
“What kid are you? What do you mean here?” Risma asked the teenager in a loud tone, Thursday night (8/10/2020).
“I’m from Mojokerto ma’am. I’m here to participate in a demonstration,” replied one of the teenagers.
Upon hearing the responses of the teens, Risma also asked why the demonstration was fighting.
In fact, they are still high school students.
“You know what you’re fighting for. What’s your demo? Do you know the contents of the Copyright Law,” Risma asked loudly.
The teens couldn’t answer. They simply looked down and asked Risma for help so that they could be released from the security forces.
“You have damaged the city of Surabaya. If you are honest, I dare to defend you,” he said.
The teens were eventually detained by the police to take responsibility for their actions, which destroyed various facilities in the city.
Risma’s anger is very reasonable. He felt that he built Surabaya with great difficulty, but it was destroyed by the protesters in an instant.
“How can you? I’m half dying to wake up this city. We thought I was comfortable building this city. Not just my citizens, you are damaged like this,” Risma said.
