Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Maybank Indonesia opens its voice regarding savings money belonging to esports athlete Winda Lunardi and her mother, which is missing from her account. Without mitigation, the lost savings reached Rs 20 billion.

In an official statement, quoted CNBC IndonesiaOn Saturday (7/11/2020), Maybank Indonesia claimed to have reported and prosecuted the alleged criminal case to the police.


“So the criminal person has now been arrested and is in legal proceedings in the District Court to be held accountable for his actions,” wrote an official Maybank statement.

Maybank is currently submitting the resolution of this matter to the applicable legal process and will comply with and respect the decision of the court with the force of permanent law.

“Maybank always prioritizes the comfort and safety of all customers when banking,” he said.

Previously, Winda Lunardi and her mother, Floteta, reported the loss of their savings to the Police Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim). After investigating, Winda only realized that the savings balance had been lost since last February.

Bareksrim Polri has named the head of the Maybank Cipulir branch with the initials A as a suspect in the case of the loss of the savings balances of Winda Lundari and her mother.

In launching detik.com, the director of special economic crimes, Brigadier General Helmy Santika, said that Suspect A moved the victim’s unauthorized savings to several other accounts.

“The person in question inadvertently transferred the money from the victim’s account to various accounts,” Helmy said.
