jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Two TNI soldiers, Serda M Yusuf and Serda Mistari, who were the victims of the beating of a group of Harley Davidson motorcyclists in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, were questioned by TNI POM.
The two were asked for information on the cause of the beatings committed by members of the Harley Owners Group Siliwangi Bandung Chapter (HOG SBC) moge club during the convoy in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra.
The plan to investigate Serda M Yusuf and Serda Mistari was conveyed by TNI commander AD Puspom, Lieutenant General Dodik Widjanarko in a written statement on Saturday (10/31/2020).
“The two TNI members will be asked for information by the Bukittinggi Military Police Sub-Detachment (Denpom) in West Sumatra Denpom,” said Lieutenant General Dodik Widjanarko.
The attack is known to have started when Serda Yusuf and Serda Mistari detained several members of the HOG SBC who were abandoned by the convoy.
This was done so much because the group of bikers acted arrogantly playing with the gas of the motorcycle.
Even Serda Yusuf and Serda Mistari’s motorcycles, which had already stopped, were forced onto the shoulder of the road as a result of several club members trying to catch up with the convoy.
Still, Lieutenant General Dodik said the two would still be investigated. In fact, the two victims will be prosecuted if they are shown to have violated the rules.
